Compared to Conversational Chinese, Comprehensive Chinese is an alternative academic path to learning Chinese, developing language abilities in all aspects including reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension. Students will make balanced progress in all language abilities in preparation for actual language use in the real world and get ready to sit HSK exams in according levels.

ii. Professional Chinese
This course provides specialised training to those who would like to seek career opportunity in certain industry in China, after completing their academic study of Chinese language. This course will develop the language learners need for their preferred industry as well as improving their general Chinese language skills. Gaining proficiency in work-related language will greatly enhance learners' competitiveness in employment of a targeted industry. This course will also prepare students to sit HSK Professional exams. HSK Professional certificate will serve as an objective appraisal of achiever's language proficiency in related industry.

Entry Requirements
No Chinese language skills required. For students with previous Chinese knowledge a placement test will be conducted to ensure that your child is studying at the correct level.
Course Description
Each session of this course has a theme-based approach for the task content and includes stories, rhymes, songs practical tasks and language tasks. A specific aspect of teaching methodology and classroom practice is related to each theme - examples include festivals, animals, storytelling and measuring. This course will help students to make balanced progress in Chinese language abilities and at the same time keep them interested in Chinese culture.
