and most complex civilizations, China boasts a
history rich in over 5,000 years of artistic,
philosophical, and political advancement.
We believe that students of the Chinese language
should be familiarised with the Chinese culture
in its past traditions and present representations.
By offering a wide range of cultural courses,
students will gain more insight of Chinese life
and culture.
Please note: All courses
are run according to demand.
Please send us an email specifying which course
you are interested in taking and when you would
like to take it.
Once five people have signed up for the course,
we will send an email to you confirming dates
and times.
1. Introduction
to Chinese Culture
This course aims to introduce students
to key aspects of traditional and modern Chinese
cultures in order to help them better understand
the Chinese experience and worldview. The course
will use a combination of lectures, discussions,
workshops, and audiovisual presentations. The
course is taught in English and no knowledge of
Chinese is necessary.
2.
Long-term Cultural Courses
Modern Training also offers a number
of long-term cultural courses. Each course will
provide a comprehensive overview of the subject
with particular attention paid to topics of most
interest to our students.

Workshops
Attend our workshops to find out
how easy it is to create something beautiful or
delicious with your own two hands or just to have
fun!
